NBPF: The Assist- Tricks to Shake off Writer’s Block

May 8 @ 10:30 am 12:00 pm

Facilitated by award-winning poet and Poets at Large Coordinator Karen Warinsky

Participants will do a table read of an article about American rock band The National’s frontman Matt Beringer, his love of baseball, and the event that led him to a very unusual method to solve writer’s block. Then attendees will try his method!

Best of the Net Nominee and Coordinator of Poets at Large, Karen Warinsky lives in CT. She is the author of four collections including Dining with War and Beauty & Ashes and has published widely in anthologies and lit mags. A former finalist of The Montreal International Poetry Contest, she is retired from careers in media and teaching.

Sessions are limited to 15 participants each. Register for this workshop by emailing karen.warinsky@gmail.com. You may register for both workshops, but please indicate your first and second choice. Deadline to sign up is May 3rd. We will try to accommodate all who are interested in attending.
