Since 1971, the WCPA has been privileged to host readings by many beloved and acclaimed poets known with national and international acclaim. Take a step back in time and review our Broadside Archive, with handcrafted flyers detailing events featuring these poets.
Historically, broadsides were posters, announcing events or proclamations, or simply advertisements. Broadside printing is often done by smaller printers and publishers as a fine art variant, with poems often being available as broadsides, intended to be framed and hung on the wall.
The WCPA has a long tradition of broadsides going back to the early days of the organization. Many have been scanned into this digital archive. The Association is thankful to Francine D’Allesandro and others for their work in preserving our history.

We are always looking for more of these broadsides. As you can see, there are a few years missing. Therefore, if you have copies that are in good quality that are not found in this archive, please let us know, so we can digitally master them and include them in this library.
