NBPF: Holy Relics of the Game—Artifact, Myth and Legend

National Baseball Poetry Festival Two Free Generative Workshops: Holy Relics of the Game—Artifact, Myth and Legend Facilitated by Lifetime Beat Poet Laureate Tommy Twilite.

Participants are invited to consider some baseball relics as inspiration to conjure up a poem. Twilite will bring some very interesting pieces, and participants may bring something of their own: a special old glove or cap, maybe a scorecard, ticket stub, etc. to use as inspiration for discussion and writing.



About the Facilitator:
Lifetime Beat Poet Laureate Tommy Twilite is the author of Kills No Bird and Fifty Words for Rain. He hosts the Twilite Poetry Pub on WXOJ Valley Free Radio out of Northampton, MA, is the former editor of Silkworm and a retired fire fighter.

Sessions are limited to 15 participants each. Register for this workshop by emailing tommytwilite@gmail.com You may register for both workshops, but please indicate your first and second choice. Deadline to sign up is May 3rd. We will try to accommodate all who are interested in attending.
