Poets @ Large Presents: Pop-Up Poets

Well known area poets will pop-up at ‘A Great Notion Books’ from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21 to enhance Holiday Shopping. 65 Southbridge St, Auburn.

This event is sponsored by Poets at Large for holiday shoppers to enjoy as they finish off gift lists. Books of the poets will be available for purchase and there will be special offers for shoppers. The three poets Karen Warinsky, Karen Elizabeth Sharpe and Thompson poet-laureate Steve Veilleux, will read in 5-minute sets in round-robin fashion.

A Great Notion’s owners Courtney and Tyler Galicia said in a statement, “It is our pleasure to present the Auburn community, and surrounding towns, with an opportunity to connect with these extraordinary local poets. This pop-up event is sure to be a wonderful time!” 

This event is free and open to the public and no registration is required.
