In this free workshop, you’ll:
- Discuss your writing experience and interests with your fellow classmates
- Receive fun, intriguing writing prompts to respond to (or not)
- Spend some quality time writing a brand-new draft of…whatever you want!
- Share your work with the class in an encouraging round of constructive feedback
Whether you’re hoping to connect with fellow writers, or just looking for a relaxed space to get started on your latest idea, this workshop is a great way to explore your writing interests. And if you love it, our weekly classes in poetry and prose start in January!

Instructor: Catherine Martin is a Pushcart Prize-nominated poet with work published in Pleiades, Nimrod International Journal of Prose and Poetry, Superstition Review, and others. She loves writing, reading, and workshopping with fellow writers and artists. Catherine is currently writing her first manuscript of poetry. She lives in Hopkinton with her family.
