A Virtual Thirsty Lab with Yasmine Ameli

The Thirsty Lab poetry reading, normally based out of Princeton, Mass., continues to meet virtually. On Tuesday, January 24, 2022, Yasmine Ameli will be the featured reader.
Yasmine Ameli is a poet and essayist from Worcester, MA, at work on her first collection of poetry. Her poems and essays have been published in POETRY Magazine, The Sun, Ploughshares, Narrative, Black Warrior Review, and elsewhere. Her writing has received support from Poets and Writers, Reese’s Book Club, MASS MoCA, the Edith Wharton House, the Straw Dog Writer’s Guild, the Oak Spring Garden Foundation, Monson Arts, and Franconia Sculpture Park. Yasmine works independently as a holistic creative writing coach for artists seeking guidance on cultivating sustainable writing practices, developing literary projects, and the business side of writing.
