This month will also feature a reading and book signing by Steve Veilleux.

Thompson’s first poet laureate, Steve Veilleux, finds inspiration in the magical beauty of his pastoral environment. He paints with a surreal paintbrush, relentlessly combining images into his montages. His poetry has appeared in various anthologies, including Silkworm, Connecticut Bards Poetry Review, Many Voices – One Stage, and The Nutmeg Anthology. His first poetry book, Event Horizon, is available from Amazon Books, as well as his latest collection entitled What the Moleman Said, released by Metaphysical Fox Press in 2026.
