Author’s Voices: A Speaker Series

New Dawn Art Center’s Writers Group proudly hosts a new local author on the fourth Tuesday of each month

Elaine De Lisle Membrino is the author of On Being an Artist and Other Writings (Old Naughty Dog Books, 2025).In a touching memoir of questions, Elaine De Lisle Membrino traces her motivations and growth as an artist. Her stream of consciousness narrative portrays life in a small New England mill city from World War II through society’s changes in the 1960s and 1970s. Of French-Canadian descent, Elaine ties her love of the arts and her family together. She is a visual artist, poet and writer.
