He has performed with such   jazz artists as Leni Stern\, John Stowell\, and Richie Cole\, appears on several recordings and can be heard live anchoring two working trios – “Bring Back Pluto” and “The Conversation.” More can be learned about Jerry at jazzfong.com. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSusan Elizabeth Sweeney is a Distinguished Professor of Arts and Humanities in the English Department\, at the College of the Holy Cross. Beth grew up in Baltimore\, graduated from Mount Holyoke College\, and earned an MFA in poetry and a PhD in American literature from Brown University. Beth’s poems and translations have appeared in The Worcester Review\, Friends Journal\, Diner\, Contour\, The Journal of Irish Literature\, and elsewhere. Recently she curated The Poem Next Door exhibit at the Museum of Worcester. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nStephen Campiglio works at CT State Community College (Manchester)\, wherehe also directed the Mishi-maya-gat Spoken Word & Music Series for 12 years.He recently won the inaugural Bill Tremblay Poetry Prize\, co-edited Noh PlacePoetry Anthology (Lost Valley Press)\, and had a poem selected for the collection\,Remembering Wallace Stevens (Moonstone Arts Center). His book-lengthtranslation\, with Elena Borelli\, of Giovanni Pascoli’s 1903 volume of poems\,Canti di Castelvecchio\, will be published in May 2026 by Italica Press\, and fromwhich he will be reading.

SUMMARY:A Virtual Thirsty Lab with Michael Milligan
DESCRIPTION:The Thirsty Lab poetry reading\, normally based out of Princeton\, MA\, continues to meet virtually. Join us on Tuesday April 28th virtually on Zoom with none other than Michael Milligan\, our featured reader! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMichael Milligan has worked as a construction laborer\, migrant fruit and grape picker\, homestead farmer and graphic arts production manager. Also a musician/composer\, artist and writer. He took his MFA in Creative Writing at Bennington College (thereby joining the teeming mass of writers with degrees of dubious cachet)\, co-founded Poetry Oasis Worcester and was privileged to be an editor with Diner. His poetry book reviews\, fiction and poems have appeared in Agni\, Diner\, The New Orleans Review\, The Valparaiso Review\, Chaffin Journal\, Blue Earth Review\, Illuminations and others. He is the author of Unless I Came Back to Tell You\, Kelsay Books 2021. His second book\, Failure of Flight\, ICOE Press is due out in 2026.
