SUMMARY:A Virtual Thirsty Lab with Meg Kearney
DESCRIPTION:The Thirsty Lab poetry reading\, normally based out of Princeton\, MA\, continues to meet virtually. Join us on Tuesday February 24th virtually on Zoom with none other than Meg Kearney\, our featured reader! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nMeg Kearney is author of nine books\, including All Morning the Crows\, which was the winner of the Washington Prize for poetry\, a Pushcart Prize nominee\, a Silver Medalist in Foreword Review’s Indies Book Awards\, and made Small Press Distribution’s poetry bestseller list April through September\, 2021. Her second heroic crown of sonnets\, Cardiac Thrill\, was published in fall 2025. The Ice Storm (2020)\, her first heroic crown\, is now in its fourth printing; and Home By Now (2010) was winner of the PEN NewEngland L.L. Winship Award. She’s also author of three verse novels for teens and an award-winning picture book\, published by Scholastic and illustrated by E.B. Lewis. Meg’s poetry has been featured on Poetry Daily\, Ted Kooser’s “American Life in Poetry” series\, and Garrison Keillor’s “A Writer’s Almanac;” it was also included in the 2017 Best American Poetry anthology. A native New Yorker\, she lives in New Hampshire and is founding director of the Solstice MFA in Creative Writing Program at Lasell University in Massachusetts.

He is also an assistant editor at Lily Poetry Review. His Chapbook\, In The Garden of Fortune\, was published by Lily Poetry Review Books in May of 2024.  Recent poetry publications include Abandoned Mine\, Rituals\, Choeofpleirn Press and Nixes Mate Review.
