SUMMARY:A virtual Thirsty Lab with Susan Roney-O'Brien
DESCRIPTION:Since May 2020\, the Thirsty Lab poetry reading has gone virtual for their 4th (and occasional 5th) Tuesday reading each month. On Tuesday\, June 29\, 2021\, series host Susan Roney-O’Brien will be the featured reader. \nVisit the Zoom registration link to receive information on how to join the reading. Zoom will send you an e-mail with the meeting details and a link to join. \nRegister \nSusan Roney-O’Brien lives on five acres abutting a state forest\, is the author of five poetry collections: Farmwife which won the William and Kingman Page Poetry Book Award\, Earth\, a Cat Rock Press publication\, Legacy of the Last World published by Word Poetry\, Bone Circle\, published by Aldrich Press\, a division of Kelsay books\, and Thira\, published by Kelsay in 2020. She coordinates the summer writing program for the Stanley Kunitz boyhood home\, curates monthly poetry readings at The Thirsty Lab in Princeton\, is part of 4 X 4\, a group of visual artists and poets\, tutors international students\, and works with aspiring writers. Nominated for many Pushcart Prizes\, she taught middle school for twenty-five years\, earned an MFA from Warren Wilson College\, raised two children\, innumerable chickens\, planted and harvested gardens. She\,\nher husband and their chocolate Labrador retriever live in Princeton\, Massachusetts.
