DESCRIPTION:Langston Hughes\, an early adopter of what we now call jazz poetry and leader in the Harlem Renaissance\, birthday is February 1st. Join us for a reading of his work by Worcester’s Deputy Cultural Development Officer Che Anderson. \nVisit the Zoom registration link to receive information on how to join the reading\, and Zoom will send you an e-mail with the meeting details and link. \nRegister \nChe Anderson is the Deputy Cultural Development Officer for Worcester\, MA\, where he focuses on public art\, special events\, and cultural equity. An avid lover of street art\, Che has led efforts to increase Worcester’s public art\, most notably serving as founding Director of POW! WOW! Worcester\, a festival-style event that brings internationally acclaimed artists to the City of Worcester to activate underused spaces and beautify Worcester.
