DESCRIPTION:Poets Terry Farish\, Rodger Martin\, Jimmy Pappas\, Karen Skolfield\, and Kyle Potvin. \n  \n  \n  \nThe WCPA is pleased to co-sponsor a Veteran’s Day event where Veteran Poets will read the work of Veteran Poets.  This virtual event (via Zoom) will include the poetry of Walt Whitman\, Civil War; Wilfred Owen & Siegfried Sassoon\, WWI; Donald Baker & Randall Jarrell\, WWII; Etheridge Knight\, Korea; Bruce Weigl & Yusef Komunyakaa\, Vietnam; Brian Turner & Khadijah Queen\, Iraq/Afghanistan. \nJoin the virtual reading by registering via Keene State’s link.  After registration\, you will receive an e-mail pass link shortly before the event. \nReading at the event will be Terry Farish\, Rodger Martin\, Jimmy Pappas\, Karen Skolfield\, and Kyle Potvin.  They will read samples from their own work in addition to the poets mentioned above. \nThis event is sponsored by The Monadnock Writers’ Group with co-sponsor including C&S Whole Grocers\, The Poetry Society of New Hampshire\, the Monadnock Modern Poetry Collection\, Mason Library\, Keene State College\, and the Worcester County Poetry Association. \nIf you like you can download the event flyer – 20201111 Veteran Poets speaking Veteran Poets.
